2. What Zap Exchange Is — and Isn't
Zap Exchange UAB is a licensed virtual currency exchange intermediary. We do not hold or custody user funds at any point in any transaction. We connect users to two licensed settlement partners and earn a commission when a transaction completes.
We are not a bank, broker-dealer, money services business, or a custodian of any kind. We never take title to user funds, never hold deposits, and never operate omnibus accounts on behalf of users.
3. Compliance Framework
- EU AML/CFT framework (5AMLD / 6AMLD) as transposed into Lithuanian law.
- KYC on every user prior to first transaction.
- Transaction monitoring and sanctions screening on every settlement.
- Suspicious activity reporting to Lithuanian FCIS where required.
- Data protection under GDPR.
4. Licensed Settlement Partners
All transactions on Zap Exchange are executed by the following licensed entities. Zap Exchange UAB is responsible for platform operation, KYC compliance, and AML/CFT obligations in its capacity as a licensed Virtual Currency Exchange Operator under Lithuanian law.
